(1) the Gruppo was a mixed unit (BT & AS) having 3 torpedo-bomber crews
in charge
(2) 162a Sq. trasferred to Scarpanto between 12 and 15 May to
operate as airfield defence
(3) On 25 May, 231a Sq. BT moved to Aegean but on 1 June was back
in Italy, leaving its 6 Z.1007bis to 50° Gruppo
(4)56° Gruppo BT doesn't appear to have participated in the Battle of Crete in
any significant way. Its aircraft aren't included in the totals below.
