Formed at Hursley, Pitt Hill and Magdalen
Hill Camp near Winchester between December 1914 and January 1915 from
the Regular Battalions returning from overseas garrisons. Arrived in
France in January 1915. Served in France and Flanders until November
1915 when the Division moved to Macedonia. Served in Macedonia until
the Armistice (30 September 1918).
