65th (2nd Lowland) Division

The 2nd Lowland Division was formed from the Home Service men of the Territorial Force units in the 52nd Division, it was formed in Great Britain in January 1915. Although the Division remained in Great Britain (serving in Ireland from early 1917) for the duration of the war many men volunteered for overseas duties. The Division was finally disbanded in March 1918 and all the units in the Division had been transferred, drafted of disbanded by May 1918.
