What's new
The pages of this site are constantly being tweaked and twitched. This site is so large (4900 + pages) that only major changes and or additions are noted on this page. Check the date at the top of the page for status of the information content. Minor changes to spelling, or a unit's designation, or other additional small bits of information are not indicated here. Changes in format, layout, or administration are seldom reported. Administrative comments are in yellow. Web site information is in white. Book updates are in green. Other colors are used as the whim strikes me. |

Today, 'World War II Armed Forces - Orders of Battle' has been online for 10 years.
Many thanks to all the contributors who have made this site possible. Bless you. |
| 18.07.2008 | The Armed Forces Commander South East (12th Army) has been amended for the 22 June 1941 (Fall Barbarossa) German Army order of battle. Note that it's for 20 July 1941, but this has the advantage that all the units slated for the East Front have departed the theater. Many thanks to Bill Russ. |
| 20.06.2008 | Manuscript for volume 3/III of my German World War II Organizational Series (aka 'The Grey Series') has been sent to the publishers, The Military Press, and will be printed soon. |
